Why Malawi? Why HIV? Malawi has one of the highest HIV rates in the world and most people live on less than $2 a day.

Setting up a fundraiser takes only a minute. Simply pick how you want to raise money, choose a photo, create a campaign name and you'll be taking the first step towards ending HIV once and for all.

What does T!AN do?

We're glad you asked!
We are a 501(c)3 tax-deductible non-profit organization that works to end the spread of HIV in sub-Saharan Africa through theatre and education since 2009... that means we've been working hard for over 10 years! Pretty cool, huh?

Theatre to End AIDS

We have local troupes of actors that go into remote villages and provide a days worth of educational theatre, discussion groups, activities, on-site HIV testing and counseling. We then provide weekly follow up.

Build Primary Schools

We rebuild unusable classrooms and build new ones to keep kids in school longer. This is important because for every additional year of education a child's likelihood of contracting HIV reduces by 10%.

Costs?

Theatre to End AIDS

$185 supports an entire village where we can educate sometimes over 2,000 people plus test hundreds of people for HIV in-village. On average it costs us 5 cents per person to education & test them for HIV. 

Build Primary Schools

​$600 can rebuilt an unusable school and $5,500 can build an entire new school block of 2 classrooms. This includes new roofing, flooring, walls, and a blackboard so students can learn in better conditions.
